This Masterclass aims to help children develop confidence, speed and accuracy in their Times Tables. The workshop is embedded in the principles of Growth Mindset, deliberate practice and repetition.
Eric Kandel, who won the Nobel Prize in 2000 for his work on memory, showed that repeated stimulus (for example, repetition) enables brain cells to grow and make new connections. By giving children an understanding of how they learn they will develop a renewed sense of purpose and determination.
Parents and Carers have reported that, following attendance at a remote workshop, children have made huge leaps in progress and are now excited and determined to learn their Times Tables.
A pay-per-view version of this workshop will be available soon with regular events taking place on Facebook Live.
