We are so excited about the new academic year and the new initiatives and projects we have lined up for 2018/19 we just had to share them with you! The 2018/19 academic is certainly going to be about grit, growth and innovation.
Introducing Dylan Brown
Firstly, I would like to welcome Dylan Brown on board the Go Fish Education team. Dylan has over twenty years of experience in the field of learning and development and brings a great deal of expertise to our current provision. Dylan’s specialist field is psychology and child development heralding the work of Piaget, Vygotsky and Zimbardo. He is also a proponent of growth mindset theory and embeds his practice in Carol Dweck’s theory to ensure children and adults reach their full potential. Dylan will be integral to our tutoring team, alongside our already established Affiliated Tutors this further expanding the range of courses and subjects covered. Dylan will also be part of our Coaching and Mentoring Team which works in local schools to help students improve their confidence, motivation and academic performance. In his free time, Dylan can be found riding the green lanes on his motorbike or strumming on his guitar to Britpop classics.
As of 1st September 2018, we will be a Limited Company!
We are also proud to announce that as of 1st September 2018, Go Fish Education will be trading as a Limited Company. This is something we have always worked towards achieving and we are so proud that it has happened far sooner than expected.
Looking forward to 2018/19
Our aims and objectives for 2018/19 continue to be to provide children and adults with a supportive yet challenging coaching and learning experience which seeks to inspire and educate to the highest level. We will continue to provide outstanding private tuition, consultancy, coaching and mentoring for individuals and groups alongside personal development workshops for families, schools and business. During 2018/19, we will be building on the success of My Grit Journal and introducing online personal development courses focussing on developing motivation and resilience, parenting and self-improvement for children and adults.
As we embark on a new chapter in the story of Go Fish Education Ltd, we would like to thank everyone for their continued positive support. We feel privileged to work with such inspiring and innovative families, schools and businesses.
If you would to find out more about our ethos and business, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Kerry & Dylan
